Re: Live discussion Saint's - 60 minute flow

Sunil, I realise that I am not as good as you or many others here. Just could not resist the temptation of expressing my 2cents...:D

I think 2 PM Bar is a valid PH. Hence that is the SAR.

I also think in 60 mins, it is always the Pivots. One exception can be, if a WRB is negated immediately. ie...next Bar itself.

Cheers
wow, Pakatil & his two Annas...
:D

I m visiting that thread again...

(problem is that now whenever I see Anna, I think of you)
LOL

Re: 60min Flow Trades for the Week: Saint's Method

Suzlon came down from 68 to 55 rs in that hourly bar. I was holding 1 lot short and could clearly see it's been dumped fast but i could only add to my short as per our method after that bar completed.

Anyone has a better idea for adding? I was considering to look at 30 min chart and add at the low of it but decided to be disciplined:) and honest to the method and added low of that giant WRB.

to whomsoever it may seem non-argumentative & simple clarification:

only 2 queries (simply to know your point of view):

1. Do we consider the 2pm bar (the second last bar of 9-Jan) as reversal pivot bar or not?
2. The whole sequence of 60min bars on 9-Jan - do we consider them as breakdown failure?
Sunil,
I'd consider breakdown failure only above 3pm high of 9 Jan.

vin

Sunil bhai ...just can't hold my views

if we see 3 pm bar looks like a pivot but the next bar is inside bar means indecision ..if next 2-3 bar remains in this range then we can take the high of range as pivot but till now it want some more bars for making of pivot

one another case : if the next bar brake low of 9 jan then surely it will emerge as pivot high..

for me pivot is level at which the market about to change its direction ..so it should be clear & take us away from whipsaws

these are just my views

Thank u, Pakatil, Vinst & Vineet for expressing your views...

The broader consensus is that shorts have to be cautious on Monday near 2900 zone...

You could have added on crack of previous PLs at 64 and 61.3 (or nearabouts) pattel, we dont look helplessly when the stock sells off so strongly . We have earlier pivots lows so use them to add .In this way you take aggressive action but at the same time stay within the system rules.

It is just a suggestion, not to say that waiting to add till the low of huge WRB is incorrect. But these adds would have made a big difference,I am sure.

Best Wishes,pattel
