thanks for the explanation. but still do we need to see bar lows also to determine the PH unless we are in side way movement. in this case i dont see sideway movement. the bar highs for 11, 12, 13 doesnt confirm to a pivot high. am i missing something ?

No Komal , 12 Noon bar on 17th is not a PH, not even a minor Pivot if we go by the "old definition" we were using here. Lows may be looked at but first the highs must confirm to a Pivot formation. As Saint would say : Go with the eye! The 12 Noon bar yesterday is more of a PL but not a PH.
Just compare yesterdays and todays (18 Nov) formation, you are sure to "see" the 12 noon bar today as a PH. Even the 2 PM bar today is a PH and previously such Pivot was termed as a Minor Pivot.

Its more of a minor congestion zone. Would consider it as SAR had one more bar price stopped at the same high level. Cannot see it as a Pivot High.
But please do not accept my view as correct. I am prone to making errors, would request you to seek opinion from Sunil, ST,Rakesh,Satyen etc.to be absolutely sure.

I am not seeing how 12 pm bar of either 2day or yesterday could be considered as PH..
