Just 1 long moving filter kept us out of the trade till we got a breakout above the pivot high with small filter, squared at end of the day.

02/01/2009

Short triggered on 10:00 - 10:30 AM candle, SAR HOD+filter

at 1:00 PM, the SAR shifts down to high of 12-12:30 candle + filter, which was taken out triggering second Trade Long ...

Some of us would not have shifted the SAR down, for them Long triggered on next candle/bar.

A third trade, Short triggered on the 2:30-3:00 bar, again some of us would not take this short because of being late in the day, those who took covered around EoD.

Thanks for the charts dated 01 & 02 Jan 2009.
Just a small querry regarding trade dated 01-01-09.... Is it right to go short below the low of 5th bar- small filter ( topping tail-bearish bar) because it is second move of the day? Will it be called second move of the day?

We don't go short below 5 bar(topping tail- bearish bar), in this case we need to take confirmation from the higher TF. And the next bar is also negating the bearish bar. This is retracement of the present uptrend.Still the trend is up so that is not called second move.
