Miniflow Trades for the day: 27 and 28 JAN 09
27 Jan
Moving filter keeps us out of longs after the opening bar. But we eventually go LONG over the congestion above the next 2 bars...ie 2728+filter. Adds trigger later on crossing the pivot highs.....and preofit booking at end of day as per individual plan.
28 Jan
Long above the pivot high of 2799 with smaller filter.....add above the next bar high and profit booking at end of day.
Both these were days of least activity and good profits.

want to ask one question ?
when we enter trades on break of pivots ....do we need to use the same filter (high/low pivots ) as we use for moving filter or should we go for bit less or more...?
i know it depends on individuals/ sujective...but wt u recomend ..pls comment ..

We use 2 filters in miniflow for a trade to trigger.
Filter (F), initially we used 14.
This filter we use initially to get movement bias.. just after the first 5min
As we are not very sure of the direction it will move, so its big enough to avoid the normal vibrations of small whipsaws.
Small Filter (SF), intially we used 7.
This we use later in the day, when we have confirmed pivots, or some proper movement. As we know which direction the movement is and how its moving, so a smaller filter can be used.
