Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

as per my chart see the bars on 30 tf...
2.00, 2.30, 3.00 ...this bars pattern i have noticed we have got quite no of times during intraday before ...the subsequent range of the bars shorter then the prev bar along with shorter real body and more visible wicks ...buyers losing grip slowly in favour of sellers and then sellers in driving seat...
just my observation...

have a nice weekend to all the members......

Due to less volumes of MININIFTY , it may deviate by few points occasionally ,resulting in wrong trades. As MN broadly follows NIFTY,will it be OK if we stop watching H,L, of MININIFTY?.i.e. Enter trade only when Nifty signals it.

I think there will be no problem in looking at NIFTY FUT charts and takes positions in MINI NIFTY under same month contracts.

Minifty has enough liquidity for us to play. Normally upto 3 lots are easily executed at the same rate and in rare occasions when it is not, the difference is only 5 to 15 paise. If you are thinking of playing more than 5 lots at a time then you can switch to big nifty for ease of handling otherwise, minifty is very good and affords enormous flexibility in terms of position sizing. Also (not related to this method) its TBQ and TSQ give a fairly more accurate picture of things to come than big nifty. I have stuck to minifty even when playing large lots of 5 or more. Have hardly ever faced any problems.

PS: Play minifty and see minifty charts only not nifty futures charts

pl. elaborate how you integrate TBQ,TSQ with miniflow. It seems to be a deviation from pure miniflow, which others are following. But you have right to tweak to suit your style since you are trading with your hard earned money.

You are right,Mininifty provides flexibility in position sizing.May be you are using bigger filter than NIFTY traders to take care of occasional spikes in Mininifty, reported by others.

Think TBQ is Total Bye Quantity and TSQ is Total Sell Quantity.
Nothing special to do with...but like beethoven said it may give more clear picture of the market in terms of queue volume than the NIFTY. I didn't tired it as it cannot be trusted much.
