manoj...as soon as we get a pivot ,the whole concept of moving filter gets
evaporated.....
So we have a pivot in 30 min, below which is our short entry. (2763.5-7).

In this case its okay as the price is still nearby at 2770ish. But what if the price had gone further up, say 2800ish. Then would we still wait for this pivot low crack or put a short entry below recent 30 min bar low?

Only PL, after a PL is got for entry. As for SAR 2 bar rule or PL, PL taking prcedence applies.

To rephrase the response.

Once the 30 min forms a pivot, then Move 1-2 rule does not hold nor does the Moving Filter rule. Just enter at break of pivot-/+7

i'll go short at 1.00 bar low-f...some may go for 2.30 bar low ..15tf supporting a clear pivot...though everything as very narrow difference..
manoj..
during the first entry....we look for :
moves1,2 ..if something in our side we take entry as we did yesterday....
or
pivots has supremecy over everything...just get into trade when the pl,ph cracks...

Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

it all depends on wt is the next bar after pivot is formed...
take this
first bar, then hh,hl ..then hh,hl ..then lh,ll ...we got a pivot ph and also different move...then the next bar if its hh,hl and take out pivot +f get in trade or lh,ll - filter and get into trade...
or we can get an inside bar also...
but the whole situation is paradoxical..moves1,2 creates pivot ...so the moves themselves gets exterminate/zerod as a pivot is formed....

the 30 min pivot low is 2763.5, which should be the entry trigger. 1 pm or 2.30 might be too soon. The pivot might hold for the day.

Institutional investors (IIs) and news gives market the direction. Traders keep it ticking. Retail investors give it momentum.

Retail guys have become extinct (almost). IIs are not interested. No news either. So the market is just ticking for the benefit of brokers. Thanks to us. :D
