Some days are ours, some our broker's and market's. As long as we have more and bigger days in our favour,we dont mind giving a bit to them.Today was their day, tomorrow will be ours....

Well if we have learned the lessons that Saint Sir taught us while trading today, the losses would be worth it. :)

Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

Hello

Currently we are in a low range phase, the daily ATR has kept on reducing.

Thanks to dumdum on ADC thread for the concept.

As traders we have to take/accept what market gives us.

Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

Basically then we are talking about 3 down bars.......stops remain where they were at the high of the day ,usually the 1000 bar in your example+normal filter.

Saint
Vineet/Saint,

Here the stop is for short trade or long trigger??? Because if we have 3 down bars and it does not trigger a short then LONG will be move 2 and LONG will be 11 bar high plus move 2 filter or small filter. Thats my understanding till date, but Saint's reply says otherwise or I did not understand it correctly. COuld you please correct my understanding?

Thanks,
Amit

Thanks a lot Saint Sir and all who have actively participated in today's discussion. It was really a nice experience while going through these posts.
Learned a lot and many doubts got cleared. Today I could not participate due to my personal work but strongly feel that I shouldn't have missed such a wonderful day of live learning.
Really I am amazed to see Saint's Sir study and observations of market movements. Through his vast experience and teaching, he is helping us to prevent losses and increase profits.

Thank you once again Saint Sir and all.

Regards
Manoj

After giving more thought to it I think Saint's answer was for a scenario where3rd bar closed bearish but still a limping move to the downside (did not trigger short) and hence no clear move 1 yet and hence stop at 10 bar high + LF for the LONG entry. We look for Move 2 only when we have clear and strong move 1.

Let me know if this is correct or not.

Thanks,
Amit

True, if Move 1 has not happened yet then LF is in use. Unless of course there a juicy break at hand.
