Currently our stop is at 2543.5-sf. Our 4 bar rule will push the stop further down. What does one do? Should he still follow 4 bar rule? I mean, 4 bar rule kicks in when there are 4 bars after entry no ? Please comment.

In my Opinion, now, SAR should be at 11.00 bar low - Rev. filter as the present bar crossed high of 11.30 bar ( 4 bar rule). Vineet, please confirm.

ohhhhh..kya ho gaya manoj ..we start from 10.30 bar low ...so fourth bar will be 12.00 bar low ..we will not use it untill we get 4 completed HH\HL bars..

Isnt the SAR supposed to be below the bar whos highbreak gave you entry?
In todays case, 11.00 bar low-sf.

As per one of the saint's post Pivot is to be preferred to the 4bar rules for stoploss. if there is clear pivot.

Is it right?

So are you suggesting that the MM be laid down according to stop at 10.30 bar low?

A specific question:

In such cases: what takes precedence?

The low of the bar that gave entry or the low of the previous 2 bar (as per 4 bar rule)
