Re: Intraday Miniflow Trades for Today: Saint's Method

Hi ST
My humble analysis today along with the 30 minute chart for NIFTY FUTURES FOR 17TH MAR 09.
I have indicated my areas to trade on it,
Today the market was choppy as it took cues from the eastern markets and then the european markets.
Pl comment on my assessments for today.:clapping::clapping::clapping:

Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

I have considered PH of 12pm as move 1 as it is followed by a WRB rather then PL of 11am bar as it is a hammer followed by a weak inside bar, plz correct me if I am wrong.
As long as you are clear. Honestly speaking I am not well verse with the move 1 concept. I only take entries with the mf and pivots. Period. Hence the method right now is very simplistic.

amit...pls look at the candle formation...its very important...especially the way its closes...u know today the 3 bar just cuz it negated in the end i didnt take it has move 1 down and it turned out to be a sort of hammer instead indicating upmove...the case could have different for me if it had a good amt of real body...candlestick helps in decision making...well newys those who went long early good for them had a 40 pts upmove...

Re: Intraday Miniflow Trades for Today: Saint's Method

today's trade : below is perfect trade's chart which should be done ( what i have done everybody knows..:) )

1. first 5 min bar made..

2.second bar first moves upward but came back & goes down too..so no clear move

3. 11.00,11.30, 12.00 bar moves down & we are sure about move1 which is down..

4.when 12.00 bar completes we put short entry at its low -mov fil & longs entry at its high+small fil as MOVE 2..

5. The high is taken out & afterwards we know how to manage a trade..

this is clear example of move1 & move 2 ..we have nearer stop so we can increase no of lots & if market moves in our side it normally gives good profit like today

guys who take it early..well done, saint sir will be proud of u..:clapping:
others who took late entry ..know that where to imporve...

just my views ,thought of sharing with all..

thanx

vineet

Thanks Vineet for clear explanation about first move and second move. :clapping:

Regards,
Hemant

Sure I too have my own interpretation of the move 1-2 concept. But, it would be best if ST could step up and provide the real meaning of it as Saint had intended us to know. Of course! there cannot be a specific set of parameters defining it, but the actions can be specific (like take the next bar break or pivot break with sf for eg.). Also, elaboration of the conversation ST and Saint had would be helpful to the forum.

I have a sense that most of us have our own interpretation of this concept. However, I am not sure as to how many of us are thinking correctly.

Amit.
