Re: Intraday Miniflow Trades for Today: Saint's Method

You have gone short but the reason is not clear. If it is on 15 min pivot low break ( note that at that time 12:30 camdle on 30 min was bearish and was in agreement with goinh short) then the trade is correct in my view.It is not a PL on 30 min TF

There was no clear move 1 and 2 as per my view. No successively higher /lower pivots were made. So I would go short in 1:00 bar on break of 15 min Pl-small f . Add at 1:30 PL -add f and book profits as per plan. These are my trades today.

I an attatching the 15 min chart as a number of boarders appear to want it.
The move was convincing to me.
As a matter of fact I allways refer to the 15 min and 60 min charts before i decide to enter or exit.:clapping:

In my view, move 1 and move 2 were not clear today as successive higher/lower pivots were not there till 12 :30 bar so we are on Mov filter which kept us out of trade.

In 1:00 candle we go short on break of 15 min PL-sf

Add at 1:30 bar low-add f

Profit booking as per the method. 1/3 in between in 2:00 candle and 2/3 at the end.

Hello ST,

I have always been a proponent of using 15 min pivots as entry points. With filters they are excellent entry points. However, in the rules of miniflow there was no such mention.

My question is, one used 15 min pivots to make an entry yesterday. Was it due to a rule or just ones experience? Will all the 15 min pivots be used as entry and SAR? If you think an answer to this question might guide us pls do reply.

Jatayoo... you have a good eye for charts. Only if you were to channel your mojo via a method or rules for a while you, undoubtedly, will turn out to be a topnotch trader.

good luck and regards.

Amit,

I had a bit of data problem from yesterday afternoon and in my chart it was showing a PL at around 12- 12.30 in 15 min chart. When I saw vinneet's charts it was not there. Some wrong data got updated probably... any way... today all is fine ...

Entering on 15/20 min pivot if 30 min pivot is far away is very much in the system. Here one has to remember to use it judiciously otherwise it becomes a 15 min flow... We use 15 min pivot when either 30 min or 60 min or both are pointing in same direction. But our main TF is 30 min that has to be kept in mind. More later...
