Saint did we miss some adds yesterday??

Also I had doubts how can we keep booking prifits on our positions and at the same time add new positions, isnt that a waste of brokerage:confused:
Have to be flexible on that one.......don't take profits off when you see a clear cut trend move happening in your direction unless you are getting fidgety about holding huge gains.

If you are going long 5 lots, and then 5 more.....long 10 lots and you have a move of 70 pts in your favour, which actually is the risk in that trade, and you cannot but mentally calculate that you are sitting on gains of Rs35000,suggestion was to take some off the table,so that you can carry on with the trade.

Also, imagine you went long on Bar 2 of the day,and the trade was a scratchy sideways move, and you got that amount risked back, then take some off the table.

As said in the beginning, where and how profits are taken,if taken at all,is flexible......depending on individual personality and temperament,on capital traded with,on the number of open positions all at once, etc.

How to enter, where to add,to exit at the end of the day or not,etc etc ....all that is rigid.Profit taking,if done at all,is the only thing that is flexible.

Ok Saint, so the decision of whether I take profits off or add is upon me.

I totally agree that there are some days when there are only sideways moves and we would like to take some profits off the table and see if markets are generous to give us something

Other strong trending days we would just like to hang on to original posn. or may be add to it, got it

Thanks again Sir
