Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

Hello Utpal,

My 2 cents.

The question is: What is a good time to raise the SAR to the red line? At the 7th bar or the 8th?

My reaction would be: at neither, because at both those times the price is having a downward moementum and are pretty close to the SAR. Therefore, one prefers to have the PH taken out before calling it a PL. (Vineet bhai has mentioned it a few times before.) Else, just a minor whipsaw can take out our SAR, esp when the prices are close to the SAR and the momentum is downward.

Unless, prices are in a well defined range the above should hold true.

Hence, ideally I'd raise my SAR to the red line after the PH has been taken out... not before esp in these choppy markets.

Amit.

seniors plz correct,
SAR for mini @ 3650.5-sf , we should go with a big filter or a small as the gap between them is very less.
thanks

Raj,

Focus on the rules and the reasons behind those rules. Ask questions related to the rules. This will accelerate your learning. Anything else will just get in the way.

Remember, the first thirty days of a trader with a new system are his make or break days with that system. So use them well. Good luck.
