I see that many have difficulty in seeing 11:30 H on 15 min as PH....if you cannot see dont trade because you will not be confident on this trade....but if you see and appreciate that,it will give you entry/reversal 14 points early....

LESSON FOR THE DAY
I could not see the pivot and so I did not reverse.
It was a costly mistake and soon it was too late.
The chart below shows what i could not see and many others perhaps could not as well.

Take care and let us not repeat this mistake..... I will not.
MY FIRST LOSING DAY IN MINI FLOW IN 50 DAYS.....:clapping::clapping:

my week was not a good one...made plenty of loosing trade...:annoyed: I have to rework on the rules properly, mainly the pivots.

Well, Raj, none of us at Miniflow were profitable this week. But, it is a part of the game. Do not take the "reworking" route. Cuz as soon as you stop trading the big day will happen. So just continue and rectify your mistakes with each passing day.

Well, Raj, none of us at Miniflow were profitable this week. But, it is a part of the game. Do not take the "reworking" route. Cuz as soon as you stop trading the big day will happen. So just continue and rectify your mistakes with each passing day.

Inn fact this is the most consistent method.
Only the stop losses are huge.... we ask the bulls to break the HOD; and the bears to break the LOD very often.

My Amibroker charts showing wrong timing ,I think….

5m charts showing 9.59.55,10.04.55, 10.09.55,10.14.55,10.19.55………
10 m charts bar showing 10.09.55, 10.19.55, 10.29.55…………
15m chart showing 9.59.55,10.14.55,10.29.55,10.44.55…………
.30m showing 9.59.55,10.29.55 ,10.59.55…………..
60m showing 10.29.55,11.29.55,12.29.55……….

But these are for nifty fut……all equty charts are showing different timings…

For eg:ICICI on 22-5-09

5m showing 9.58.10,10.04.45,10.09,10.13.20,10.17.50………….
10m showing 9.58.10,10.09,10.17.50,10.29,10.38.15………..
15m showing 9.58.10,10.13.20,10.29,10.42.45,10.59………
30m showing 9.58.10,10.29,10.59,11.29.55,11.58.05……….
60m showing 10.29,11.29.55,12.28.40,1.29.10,2.28.25…..

So my doubt is
1. How to resolve this problem?
2. For 60m can I change it as 10,11,12,1,2,3…
3. for 30m as 10,10.30,11,11.30….
4. for 15m as10 ,10.15,10.30……..
5. for 10m as10,10.10,10.20………
6. and for 5m as 10,10.05,10.10,10.15……

I am new to Amibroker ( only one month experience)…pls help

One more,
My brokers TT ( India Infoline)shows timings from 9.55 onwards…
So in 5m chart it will be 10,10.05,10.10……..
In 10m 10.10,10.20,10.30………
In 15m 10.10,10.25,10.40….
In 30m10.25,10.55,11.25………
In 60m 10.55,11.55,12.55………( not so accurate as I mentioned…but close to it)

While trading miniflow I follow my brokers chart only…..This doubt is in my mind from the day I started miniflow trades…but ignored and followed my TT blindly till now…

So..am I right in my trades following my RT charts ? Can I correct my TT ?(but found no options)

I never traded 60m flow…but planning to do so….Then how to deal with 60m charts in real time ? I use Amibroker for EOD Analysis ..no real time feeds for me…

I request you to help me in
A. resolving the timing problem in Ami
B. How to deal with 60m charts as it shows 9.55 to 10.55 in TT and 10.30 to 11.30 in Amibroker
C.Let me make known that, if I was trading fault all these days…..( But in profits….:lol::lol

In Amibroker go to Tools->Preferences->and select Intraday tab, there do the below.

"Tick" the Align minutes bar to regular market hours.
"Select" the END time of interval radio button.

Now you should get the time corrected like 9:59:59, 10:29:59, etc...

It Seems Everybody Has Been Doing Well Here, So Taking A Positional Trade, Shouldn't Have Been A Problem.

To Identify Trend For Overnight Holding Check The EOD Charts As Per The Flow Method.

Once A Trend Has Been Identified, In My Opinon it Is Better To Follow 60 Min TF For Intraday....(Please Check For Performance With The Guys, Who Have Been Trading 60 Min. TF Flow Method.)

In My Opinion & Experience When A Huge Gap Has Been Created On The Charts & Upper BB Has Been Pierced, Market Will Have Higher Than Normal Volatilty

a) Because Of The Trend Being Up

b) In Trying To Counter The Trend To Close The Gap

In Such A Case Higher TF Or Much Lower TF Should Be More Suitable.

Can't Comment On Your Filters, 'Cause Whatever I Know Of Flow Method Is Only From The Charts Posted Here.

For My Forex Trading I Go Through From 1 Min. To 60 Min. TF Through The Day Cause I Am Familiar With The Movements Of The Pairs That I Trade.

My Reason For Bringing Up The TF Was, Just As You Guys Are Able To Calculate The Filters, Same Dedication Should Be Shown To Atleast A Weekly Trend & Some Back Testing To Identify The Ideal TF For Such Times As We Are Witnessing Before Another Breakout.

This Stage Of Market Is Very Important, Especially If You All Are Going To Be Trading Intraday Everyday.
