Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

After a perusal of all the posts made today during the trading hour's and the points that arose therein I have to say that their were two significant turning points.
......Both these points could have been seen with the help of the 15 min charts and a sound ability to read what the candles are saying.ST Da was the first to reverse on the break of the 10:30 15 min bar pivot which i feel shows his sound knowledge of the method and candlestick reading ability.
......Consolidations with small bodied candles should alert us of a possible reversal.
.....The chart below illustrates of the important events on the 30 TF.
.....Pl peruse the same and offer your valuable comments.

I would like to illustrate how you have to read what the professionals are doing....see 11:30 candle...very strong bullish candle, observe the volume ,and the closing of this candle...right near top.

Observe the next candle...small body candle...closing at the middle of the candle ...lower volume than the previous candle which shows professional money not interested in buying anymore so chance of reversal....and when the low of that candle is cracked...the confirmation that professionals are selling....

The above has nothing to do with miniflow....just wanted to share how we should read what the chart is showing....

Hi ST,
It's always nice learning from you. So many times I think this is end of the learning then market will allow us to learn some thing which we are not able to..... but with the help of you people, we can keep the courage further to take decisions passing through all obstacles.

one doubt: when the volume is decreasing, I checked 5 min TF candles and thought of possible reversal nearby but I stick to the rules of Mini flow to reverse my positions. Suppose if smaller TF is in sync with the larger TF then we can reverse the positions bacause of TFA?

Please put your comments...

Hi Sreeny,

Miniflow works on 30 min TF and I would like to keep it as it is without any shorter timeframe tweaks....but as of now if market is not trending on 30 min TF we can certainly trade a small TF method in parallel to miniflow. In this small TF method we can incorporate all our skills on smaller TF...so we have best of both the worlds....a small TF advantage when 30 min is not trending...and a miniflow masterpiece advantage when markets start trending on 30 min TF.

My view for sure....

A 10:30 candle on 15 min TF is an agressive pivot high .....10:30 candle on 30 min TF is a proper PH....in miniflow we require lower highs on either side...that is all....consider PH as a point from where the swing has turned down.....

My 10:00 candle showed high of 4251 and 10:30 candle showed a high of 4250 only in 30 min chart. As posted by me yesterday, chart also visibly didn't show any PH. Am I missing something or my charts were not correct. Can you please post the values of these three candles which made 10:30 candle high as PH in 30 min chart.

You are right LVG on the highs of the bar at 10:00 and 10:30 but in the live market my chart was showing 10:30 bar H as 4252 and a little higher than 10 :00 H....data download/refresh error probably....

Reversal to long was on taking out 2 bars of equal height and also HOD (till then) but as my chart was also showing a PH (though just 2 points higher) I considered it as a PH and never thought that data download could be wrong....to consider it as a PH on sideways consolidation I would have liked to see 1-2 more bars of same height....

ST Da.
The 10:30 candle has high vol, almost comparable to the 11:00 candle + a long shadow.Professional money is covering the shorts.:clapping::clapping:
