Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

Hemant I exited with crack of 15 min sideway pivot........should it qualifies as TFA ?? if not why...i think 30 min 2.30 bar completed bearish, ,60 min also bearish....plz explain
Yes it should qualifies as TFA because after that 15 min sideways pl(2:00 bar) we have 30min bearish bar(2:30bar) and 15 min pl(2:00 bar)cracked by that 30min bearish bar(2:30 bar)+ 15 min sideways pl(2:00 bar) low and 30min doji bar(2:00 bar) low was same+60 min bearish bar(3:00 bar).so in my view that was perfect TFA.

Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

Somehow, I observe that the risk/reward ratio for the entries on different bars as the time progresses is pretty scewed towards higher risk and lower gains. It is giving rise to increase in moments "I enter my trades and market start reversing"

On a clear trend day things may be better, however nowadays, it is too bad. I am attaching today's trades/data for your view. THis is the file I maintain everyday. I use the filters of 14/7/5 as followed in the initial period(around Oct08). and I still follow the move 1/move 2 entries as laid out in the flow mother thread since I had done the backtesting using the same and kind of comfortable. However you may see that they are not significantly different from your respective entry/exits.

Can/have some changes be/been worked out/tested so that this high risk/reward ratio be smoothened out? I do not want to go against the flow as it is tested thoroughly by more than 2 eyes. just a thought..

Please suggest..

Manoj is not seen from so many days. Manoj bhai where are you ?
Hi Hemant and all. Could not trade for almost two weeks due to some most imp work. I was out of station. May be few more days will be required to completely inclined towards trading. You guys are doing very well.

Is there any change in rules /amendments in these two weeks? ( As I read Hitesh/Amit somewhere mentioned about it in today's trades.... going short below PL without MF.....something like that). I hope its only a personal modification to rules.

Thanks and regards
Manoj

Yes Hemant... I am also eagerly waiting to trade and join you guys.
As rightly said by ST Sir, if we do not trade then we loose focus and it is not affordable in trading. Now I am realizing it due to two week absentee. So though I will not be trading, but I will try to remain in touch with market as far as possible.

Manoj

Manoj we missed u a lot too........please join us as soon as possible......

the new rule u were asking to Hemant is just acc to our rule but depends upon our choice........if we have pivot and the next bar fails to take our stop orther then should we stick to that pivot or move our sar to high of that bar + filter ??? actually it's our choice to choose any one.....i was in favor of lifting sar to the failed bar but from yesterday I decided to stick with the pivot......that's all.........waiting fr ur active participation......
