Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

No i found myself pushed for too many things.....have limited myself to minifutures........first want to get a grip on the miniflow psychologically and execution wise.......then will take up more scrips method etc....currently learning other methods as well though, following ambush thread as well on TS.........
me not agree...

first of all , used to a one method fully ..just make it so perfect that you need not have to give second thought when to execute the trade ..MM. no of lots , profit booking .everything should be very clearly encrepeted on your mind ..you should know every little detail of that method like back of your hand ..all practical problem of method should be fully iron out ...& then ..then my friend , you should thought of other method...

don't look at others ..you can't see how much one has work hard to reach there..every person has its own speed & personality which helps in adjusting with a method..

just remember what saint said other day ," I Know very little but i know that very well"

all the best...

Re: Saint's Intraday Miniflow - live discussion

Dear Senior Traders,

I have been learning the Intraday Miniflow strategy. I observed that many trades that are loss-making, turn after we enter. I am wondering if anyone has explored what I call the 2 bar rule:

Assuming we are Long, if the closing price (30 min charts) of 2 bars after we enter is lower than our entry price, then raise the Stop Loss to that bars Low - Filter.

This may help in side-ways markets to minimize losses.

Kindly guide.

Regards,
Hrishabh

Today seems to be NR4 pattern based on Nifty closing.. Can expect a range in either direction..But lets follow miniflow..

Very Well said Vineet Bhai....and I confess that I have not yet mastered Miniflow in the true sense which you have mentioned. Though I trade it daily but still sometimes my mind can't take right decision especially about right position sizing ( MM ) and profit booking. So will master mini flow first and then only shift to other methods.

Hi Tushar,

My two bits of extention of Vineet bhai's thoughts.

It is a little difficult to master a method, esp an easy one. Simply because we are wearing smart-pants, aren't we? We like to tweak, optimize, add more variations etc.

A mind should get into the groove of trading a method. Then you can copy-paste this habit onto other systems. This is the most important lesson miniflow has in store for us.

Trade a method consistently, with faith. No matter what tweaks you introduce, it will definitely have a flip side. So might as well keep the execution simple and easy on the mind and heart.

Get the groove, then there is an entire ocean of methods to choose and trade from. World is your playground. Untill then, lets work our flippers in the baby section of the pool :)
