Yep, a tremendous flow of buy order expected anytime, prices may miss all the stop buy orders and just shoot up today.

Myself have given a buy stop with market orders for 60 min. stop, did this for the first time otherwise I use only 2 rs. difference from trigger price

asked about stop order to Asish da , he said place trigger order and keep blank second column ..... its very helpful in such condition

And about banning short selling,
He probably means SLB, he will have to close the F&O market to "ban" short selling. And in that case we will be allowed to close our position. So all is well.
