dear vps, i hope you don't understand futures, that's why you're asking this. there's not much difference from cash and futures, except that you have "predefined size" called lot - which is 50 for nifty and 20 for minifty.

when saint shorted/sold 6 lots - it means 6*50 (50=1 lot) = 300 nifty units
when the price goes down, as it is in profit, saint booked partial profit with 2 lots i.e., 100 units with 11points.

afterwards, he booked profit gradually.

Thanks a lot for explanations. You are right. My knowledge of futures is zero. But I know what a lot means. Didnot understand the terminology Saint used.
Saint's method is so simple that even an idiot like me can understand the system with occasional help from people like you.

But how are these points selected. What is the basis?

Saint short sold 6 lots Nifty future,each lot is 50 Qty so he shortsold 6 x 50 =300 NF .

Covering 2 lot means he bought back 2 x 50 =100 NF
