At the time of entry,stops at 4150-7=4143......Pivot break at 4182.Therefore reversal to shorts at 4182-7=4175

AIM:The aim is to trade everyday,and if all goes well,to trade between 10am and 3:25 pm............to trigger without thinking if triggers are hit,trail stop without thinking because that is our Plan,to exit without thinking if stops hit.
Code:

STOP LOSS:Rs 7 below the low of the first bar once we get that breakout in case of longs.Rs 7 above the high once the shorts are triggerred.
TRAIL STOP:Trail stops only on higher pivot lows in longs.......trail stops to lower pivot highs in shorts.If you get strong 4 bars up on the 30 or more,move the stop to the low of 2 bars back.Same as the 2 bar method we employ in the 60min Flow.Only difference is use this only after we get 4 bars up.And if the 5th bar makes a new high,then trail stop to 3rd bar low,so on so forth.

Remember one thing though:2 bar method trail stop is at 4355.Pivot formed on the 30,that is very evident on the 20,trail stop there is 4367.Trail stops using Pivots are much more important.Priority is with the Pivot Stop Loss.

STOP AND REVERSE:All stops are reverse points.

Dear Saint, :)

Could you please clarify how did you arrive thefigure of 4143 as the initial stops? Is it by 2 bar method? Was it supposed to be 4187-7 = 4180?

Hello Sir

A question not relavent to the implementation / execution of the method...

Any specific reason for choosing 20 minutes for detail over lets say 15 Mins.

Thanks
A simplistic answer to that one.......I have a 20min time frame which is immediately lower than the 30min time frame:)....But the 15 would do just fine!

From the 3rd bar, long is 2ndbar H+14 and short 2ndbar L-7. and go on. Why this difference? Why only for short filter is 7 and for long it is 14 from 3rd bar. What about the 2nd, 3rd touches LH & LL of 1st bar? Then for short shall we use 14 filter and for long 7 filter? Pl. explain.
We want the markets to blast through the moving filter......failure to blast through this bar and we do the same for the next bar.Failure to blast through and we repeat the same process again.Blasting through implies strength.....its inability to do so implies weakness.

Yet,all through out,we still have a very limp move up(Move 1).The filter has kept us out of this trade,but any reversal from then on is back to 7/5(reversal/add).

And the same goes for shorts as well,yes.

Saint - Was just trying to backtest September- did 3 days - can you please confirm if the trades are right? I feel I am a little confused on trailing the Stops !

1st Sept - S4315->L4347->E4516
4th Sept - S4441->L4481->E4447
5th Sept - S4354->L4384->E4363

Will go ahead further on backtesting after your confirmation.

Thanks

Hello All,

I have been following this thread and the 60min Flow thread for some days. Didn't participate in the discussions much as I was still absorbing lots of information from these threads and "Teach a man to ..." folder.

The sheer intellect of Saint Sir is awesome to behold; coupled with his patience in answering the most basic of questions and the genuine sincerity with which he is sharing his methods - truly remarkable, Sir! Very very few people across the world do what you are doing here.

The other seniors/experienced members in this thread, with their pertinent questions add further to the intellectual stimulation.

I am probably guilty of cluttering up this thread (I will delete this post in a day) with this post which does not add to the discussion; but just wanted to express my admiration of the people on this and other threads on this forum.

Thank you very much

SK
Thank you for your kind words,SK......A warm welcome to Traderji and to this thread.
