i was planning to shift into Rmoney but i am afraid , thae feed back is very depressing.. but one thing i must say icici people have excellent customer service plus their software is very good. Now i am trying to work out on some strategy in which i trade less and earn more, i think that is cut down my brokerage expances.. BTW which brokerage house is better according to your opinion??/ please advise.

Check out the brokerage subforum. I find geojit to be reliable, unless you are daytrading. ILFS is good except their staff have glue on their back.

Hi friends,

I am an active trader. Earlier a day trader. Now a swing trader. I Am also a technical analyst. I used to trade according to own analysis only. I dont care about the fundamentals.

I am having Demat account in ICICI,Indiabulls & Reliance Money. I found, IndiaBulls to be very best of its kind. Reliance Money is the worst. Due to Reliance Money I suffered a lot of losses, as their trading system is not reliable, and after accepting orders they may or may not be executed, that to u will be come to know after closing of market hours. I have lodged complains, and waiting for compenssations of loss incurred to me due to systems fault.

Thanks for your advice... luckily icici people have cut down their brokerage charges for day traders ..seems gud
How can day traders who stay on with ICICI's disgusting platform remain lucky? I can understand software pros working in offices who have been sold this platform and use it sparingly.

hi CV

i m yet to define my self. Some time i stay invested for more than 6 months some time i exit it 3-4 days. Generally trade on swings. With me is my broker cum my batch mate in college who searched fundamentally strong scrips.
Some time i lost money but for last 3 yrs i hv made money on yearly basis.

I feel need to start indepently as i observed that 22-28% of my proft goes as brokerage. And looking for mentor. Also, my present job does not permit me to sit in front of monitor throught out the day for intraday trading.

that's all. btw what's the purpose of this threade b'coz i m unable to figure out.

We may be full time but are we professionals ? being engaged full time is not necessarily being equated with professionalism.

for tax purposes we are :D

anyway it is our profession...whether we are professional in our approach or not depends on a variety of non-quantitative factors.

thx for clarifying that...advanced GET sellers say that most professional traders use their real time GET..another tall claim I guess...
Untrue most of the pro's dont use more than simple candle stick patterns and classical indicators if their strategy doesnt involves automation ;)
