sir on friday trend on NG was up but I [email protected]. As I realised my mistake I squared up above 20paise i.e., 199.5
After that it went above 203. I wanted to go long after squaring up my short but I didnt took

from 198.80 it was a long,12 o clock closing was 198/80 and stop loss required was just four hour closing below 198/00. stoploss 1000/- rs only(finally it closed at 205/10)
now your mistake is if you have opened chart with four hour bar,then it was quite visible that last four hour bar was a clear green bar on thrus closing 8.00 to 11.30 bar. then again on friday 12 o clock bar ,clear green bar, so after that going short was a blunder but just a long was required,so always try to consult four hour bar(higest time frame after eod)it will guide you ,to go in the right direction

if market price of any stock is above its fair market value it means on intra day we can take only long position in it,when difference of fmv & market price is lowest then we will go long in it with fmv as its stoploss,if price try to go below its fmv then we wiil close the move at once ,it shows that intra day trend is going to change but if price is trading above its fmv then we can take target profit for intra day purpose or can carry it for next day,for swing trading purpose with confidense,but it is just a momentom strategy for either side momentom,for range bound commodities it will not work,it is quite successfull in nifty as montem does not changrs in nifty so fast on day to day basis thanks

dear hardik, current move started in nifty at 5342.05,from this leval it was a clear long.on friday closing the fair market value of nifty future was 5410.00,it means you can hold long with 5410 as stop loss.
