ADX has refused to reach near 40 on 4 hour charts after the 29th of Feb.

While ADX says there is still strength for going long (+DI is currently above -DI,) I have exited my long. I'll probably stay out of the markets till the trends gain enough strength that ADX reaches 40.

dear klewtar your observation is 100% perfect
but once we go short are long as per entry signal given by rsi,then we hold it with trailing stop loss,in case of zink around 8.30 it looks short it self will be closed by four hour rsi at some nominal loss.
till then it will be holded short with stop loss of 105/35

I went long now in NickelM (yesterday was the day for entry at 985 for ADX on 4 hour charts) since Zinc and Lead haven't had strong trends for the past few weeks.

Nickel M contracts are almost the same price as Zinc Mini contracts too

I would like to kindly know , If in 4 hour chart, the RSI is below 50.. Does that suggest ,that we may short sell , for intraday please?
For example, If the stock has been trading low the previous 2 days ,and on this particular day it is up ,so can we take advantage of the spike and short sell..if the 4 hour rsi is below 50...??

not at all,only if red line will go above green ,only then you will go short after the close of that four hour bar.
but for early decision you can take help of two hour negative cross over
