How to trade with an oscillator

hi st sir had a doubt

Can 5 bars system be applied on a longer time frame say daily charts


i was looking at ballarpur industsries

with other indicators i looks like a nice entry jut wanted to know if stocastic24 rth to sep 10 th was in overbought then cam to neutral levels

is it also confirming bullish entry signals?/

i HAVE SUPERANNUATED ON 30 jUNE AND WAS BUSY WITH THE MARRIAGE OF MY SON AND NOW MY DAUGHTER.
Shall be free after 15 Oct for full time trading at last.I do trade a bit whenever i get time.....cannot keep away from it.

Time to do some "Crystall Ball Gazing" on Nifty futures...I have posted a 60 min chart of Nifty Future....

Nifty future is making a bull flag as shown in blue lines channel on the chart...also note the oscillators....they have stayed in OB zone for more than 5 bars on 2 occasions in the recent past...the last one gave us a good upmove...the latest one marked by ellipse on the chart indicates that the upmove has still some steam left...it will probably make a new top and give negative divergence on the charts before any serious correction sets in...

Observe the horrizontal line shown in magenta/maroon colour on the chart....on 8 hourly bars this line is acting as a springboard and the bar never closed below it ( though the tails pierced through....) ,it is showing that NF is preparing for another assault up....

Trading this move is simple...buy near the lower boundry of the downsloping channel....and enjoy the ride....

Very Nice. But still one doubt lingers in my mind. In bull flag, volumes in down bars should be small. Am I correct in this or not?

Yes LVG...you are right that in flag the volume dries up but this flag as well as the last flag is showing normal volumes.....also see the Bank Nifty Fut flag under formation....there again normal volume.....so volume is not giving any clue to us.....some more imperfections in already imperfect world of trading I guess....:lol:
