Hi VV,

. As I said, U have to be a programmer to program views and scans. I can share mine. But, in future, lets say, U have an idea of scanning, whom do U go to. .

AFl Library has many scans and systems including Elder's Triple Screen trading. I am sure it will be nice if you can share yours.

Thanks

Hi Vvonteru,

Excellent analysis on the EMA's.

What are the books that you are reading/referring for Derivatives?

In this thread you have given some list of books on Technical Analysis. Can you please list them (the one that is already there in the list or any new ones also) in your order of preference, that you think has helped you learn the advanced methods and is helping you in understanding the charts even now. I recently bought the book by Ashwani Gujral, reading it.

Thanks in advance,

Rags

Books:
Search in my thread for online links for these books.

To get basic ideas of stock trading, I would read
1. Come Into My Trading Room: A Complete Guide to Trading - Elder
2. Trade Your way to Financial Freedom - Van Tharp (current reading. Its good)
3. Trading for a Living: Psychology, Trading Tactics, Money Management - Elder's 1st book

Swing Trading/ Patterns for entries
1. Dave Landry's 10 Best Swing Trading Patterns and Strategies
2. Dave Landry on Swing Trading

More to read
1. Reminiscences of a Stock Operator - Edwin Lefvre (Mother of all)

Derivatives - Just reading some odd books to get a feel and before I buy good ones. Let U know if I come across some. Readers can suggest some.

Thanks Vvonteru and jdm.

Ashwani has covered Derivatives a bit in his book, its really not in depth for sure. Let me know if you get good books on derivatives.

I have:

1. Come Into My Trading Room: A Complete Guide to Trading - Elder.
2. Trading for a Living - Elder.
3. Trade like Jesse Livermore.

Have been searching for links to download the others, but am not able to find them. If someone has got them recently, could you please send me the links to [email protected]

I got Jesse Livermore/Edwin's Reminisense of Stock Operator. Just wanted to know whether this has got any charts in the book or not. Coz, the one I got doesnt have any pictures.

I got Dave Landry on Swing trading, its an excellent book, thanks Vvonteru. Have you read Barry Rudd's Day trading and Swing trading, thats a very good book too, good examples.

I havent been able to get Dave Landry's other book "10 Best Swing Trading Patterns and Strategies" can someone please help me get it.

Reminisense of Stock Operator - It does not have charts. Start reading. Then U will realize, its worth more than real world examples.

I did not read Barry's book. I will look at it after my current reading of Van Tharps book.

Dave's second book has additional 3 to 4 patterns more than the 1st book.
