Not many people use Metastock it seems. Mostly have migrated to Amibroker. I use Metastock but do not see any use of an Auto Explorer in my scheme of things. But it can be a good utility for people who looks for different scripts to trade as per their set up. I trade just NF and recently added BNF intraday along with SBI positional and Aban positional. Maybe posting under proper thread would ensure better responce from people interested.

Thank you for the detailed write-up on how to update EOD data. I'm a beginner in this domain and trying to learn charts and various concepts built around it. I followed your steps and was able to convert the NSE bhavcopy to a ascii file with the help of Metastock downloader. Now when I open MS in offline mode and try opening a scrip, it gives me only a days data. I know I'm missing something here. How do I get historical data as well? Please advise.

Forget Metastock Exploration.Its of no use. I don't know anybody who makes money out of charts.
