Dear Pravin Bhai,

Thanks for no TA/FA thread. Came across many new methods. While going thru thread, realized that you are master of commodities. So plz find some time for following questions:

1. Which are safe commodities to trade? Cotton you said as killer commodity. So which are safer ones to tread for a begginer like me.

2. What timings are good for trading at MCX? NCDEX is not reliable as per your thread and I follow that version. So at MCX which are the best timings for trading?

3. Can you plz list commodities according to preference?

4. Any other useful tip?

THanks & Regards,
Gaur_Krishna

Hi Mech,
This chart will answer your question...

http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/3149/aban280512.png

condition 1). We enter trade when candle touches the Avg Price.
condition 2). We initiate trade buy/sell if the touching candle is closed above or below the Avg Price.

If SL hit you can. But as my rule i trade one trade per day if it is loss also i dont initiate another trade with the same scrip.

Hope clarifies...

Cheers,
Karthik

PS: I cant understand Hindi much!!!:)
Karthik bro,

Could u please let me know what is the difference between we enter the trade and initiate the trade?

The condition is the 15min candle should touch and close above or below the ATP to initiate the Trade. In the case of CIPLA the 1st candle touch the ATP and closed above the ATP which signalled that we have to buy on the high price of the candle but if you look at the subsequent candle the price didnt touch/meet the high price of 1st 15 min candle which you could able to see from the Chart.

Hope clarified!!!:)
Karthik,

Why do take any subsequent candles into consideration once 15 min candle is above ATP and gets closed higher then previous candles high.If we considers any subsequent candles, are not we going to miss trading opportunities.I think the strategy was just to consider 15 min candle whose closing is above/below ATP and whose high/low is higher/lower then previous candle.

Please let me know if i am missing anything here.
