Yarr Ravi, mera prediction thik nehi chal raha hay. mera stop loss level selection may problem ho raha hya. I need to work on it. Any boy can suggest me how to calculate stop loss level. Price is comming and touching my price then going to the way I wanted. ohhh. :(
Check last 500 trades. See the trades which are profitablle. Them see that before giving profit, what was their worst movement against you. Creat bins for them. And based on thee bins, you can decide where you can keep your sl. without disturbing most of the profitable trades. You may decide to keep it small, cutting off a few winners that go a little more against you before working. But you may increase your win/loss ratio because of that,. at the expense of accepting a lower winning percentage.

And if you dont have this data for the last 500 trades, you have no business trying to trade. You may as well flip a coin for buy and sell, and then flip another coin for keep position/square off.

Sumo, may I differ with you?

Depended where each one of us are in our trading career also has a lot to do with our emotional roller coaster. I know in reading Debarghya's thread, there is progress in his personal trading, and it is also reminiscent of when I started.
Personally, and even though I do not have many losses, they do not trouble me. It is simply the price of doing business.
My emotional roller coaster is not as epic as when I first started, but I am still happy when I close a winning trade.
Now, be honest! You are too! I closed a huge winning trade on the EUR/USD the other day. It did not exactly make me feel bad.

Wrong attitude. Losses should trouble you and profits should not make you happy.

Thank you Paul,
It is more important for me to accept my trading system is wrong or something I did wrong. Then i can learn. After 3-4 consecutive loss mind set up changes that is "May be something wrong is going on in me or in system". But after one single win we again gains back confidence. :)
