i lost 125 points today, as i have only i lot of mini nifty @4917 holding , i sell it at 4812 ,it go down at 4867, when it came 4800 i sell it for short, it go 4855 i buy one lot it again came at 4806 . Then i am out of money . Total loss of 2750 today ? Kya karu?

Dear Upadhaya,

Keep your profit targets at 15 to 20 points, always trying to achieve 80 to 100 points is insane.. if you are buying 4 to 6 lots then cover them at every 5 to 10 points. atleast you will earn the same amount and sit tight until you find an oppurtunity.

If one lot cover them between 15 to 20 points. that is it. until you are confident.

Don't worry even i lost 1300 inr on 23rd of this month. I am guided by some people in this forum to study further. However starting i have always looked at min 300 per day as my target. Today i was doing paper trading again as suggested by my friends in this forum.

Check your risk profile,,, hahaha sometimes most of us sail in the same boat.

iT DEPENDS ON YOUR BROKER, IN ZERODHA IT IS MIN 8000 TO TRADE 1 LOT OF MNIFTY , OTHERS VARY 15000 TO 25000 FOR 1 LOT MNIFTY.

iF WE TAKE VWAP AS SHOWN IN NSE SITE 4918.06
IT GIVES BUY ABOVE 4935 SELL 4917, WHICH DO YOU TAKE FOR CORRECT ENTRY LTP 4916 OR VWAP.


IF WE TAKE VWAP OF MARKET START WHICH SHOWED 4914.52 IT SAYS BUY @ 4917 AND SELL 4900.
