i think gann calculations are for intraday

Dear Friends,

Gann methods can be used both for intraday and for EOD.

if we have to take for tommorrow trade decision then we need EOD data is it not.. so far what ever i have posted here it is working well , i would not say 100% at least you are getting the first or 2nd targets. if trade goes opposite direction then reverse side.

iam also testing it. I have an excel calculator which iam testing it. sofar i have seen it has given good results. if there is a gap up or gap down it may open at first or second target. however one can wait for the price to come to the buy or sell entry price. as early morning there would be volatality if gap up or gap down. if one's risk profile is good can goahead from the price they intend to if not wait for the buy and sell entry price. after all we do not want our capital to erode, even if we make 300 to 500 a day it is worth it, but losing it will hurt everyone. most of the time.

Actually even i have lost some money through intraday, right now even iam trading paper testing both eod and intraday. there is so much to learn. even i want to recover my losses and iam not in a hurry to recover as hurry and burry one will again make mistake and loss more. i take high low and LTP of EOD for arriving tommorrow's trade decision.

For intra even iam trying to take help from OCIL , when iam ready. As i need to replenish funds into my brokers a/c, this time i will trade through zerodha account. even though i also have with alankit with 2 paise brokerage, it does take away lot of your earnings to broker. from what i have seen

Dear Rahul,

I would not say EOD is more accurate or intraday. both give results of their own parameters. Gann can be used for intra as well as eod.

in EOD if there is gap up or gap down , opening price may fall in 1st or 2nd target, so one needs to wait for it to come near the entry prices, but if you are sure of market direction you can proceed from there.

Check my EOD levels that i have given with intraday you will find most of the time it has reached the targets on either side , at least two or three targets , when markets are in trend mode it will reach all its targets. in range it has reached at least 2 nd target waiting period would be more.

BOTH ARE DOING WELL. IN RANGE BOUND TREND IT IS BEST TO STAY OUT, SORRY FOR THE CAPS.

ONLY THINK IN eod IF YOUR BROKER ALLOWS TO PUT AFTER MARKET HOUR ORDER , YOU MAY BENEFIT ON TOMMORROWS OPENING, IF YOU KNOW WHICH DIRECTION IT MAY OPEN, IF NOT YOU CAN PUT BOTH BUY AND SELL ENTRY WITH SL WHICH EVER GETS TRIGGERED YOU CAN GO WITH IT AND CANCEL THE OTHER ONE.

ALREADY IN INTRADAY IT HAS TOUCHED 1ST TARGET TODAY AND AS PER eod BUY ENTRY HAS NOT YET COME, BUT SELL ENTRY 4855 HAS COME AND CURRENTLY TRADING AT 4833 LOW MADE IS 4831 SO TWO TARGETS MET. SO I WOULD SAY COME OUT OF TRADE FOR TDAY IF YU HAVE PUT TRADE ENTRY AS PER EOD. DONT TRADE AGAIN AND TODAY INTRADAY SELL ENTRY IS 4830.119. IF ONE IS NOT CONFIDENT THEN NOT TO TRADE.
