Is Forex a gambling?

#11
While forex trading and gambling games like roulette or lotteries both involve risk, they differ fundamentally. Forex trading requires skill, analysis, and strategy to manage risks and make informed decisions, whereas gambling is largely based on chance. Effective forex trading involves understanding market trends, using technical and fundamental analysis, and applying risk management techniques. Although both involve uncertainty, skilled forex traders aim to reduce losses and enhance profits through disciplined strategies, unlike gambling where outcomes are predominantly random.

For me, Forex trading is kinda of gambling. Well, unless you master the trading skill.
In gambling you need to know only one strategy according to its rules, to successfully trade on Forex you need to study everything from A to Z. Many traders drain their deposits because gambling means that in the market you need to behave responsibly to perform your actions.

Honestly, while both involve risk, Forex is more about using strategy and knowledge to make informed decisions. Sure, you can lose money, but if you know what you're doing and have a plan, you can control the risk way better than in a casino game.
That said, if you're into more straightforward gambling where it’s all about luck and fun, platforms like Panen123 are great. But when it comes to Forex, it’s all about skill and discipline, not just chance.

You can turn it into gambling at easy if you will chase profits, make reckless trading decisions like betting on some unlikely price movements or abandon risk management like setting stop or take profits. This is how I trade HFM
