from 4th oct is NO DELIVERY PERIOD...that is what i have heard...and 12oct is sstock split date
How is the No-delivery fixed in Rolling Settlement?
The Stock Exchange announces a No-delivery period in scrips on the basis of intimation from the companies about Book Closure (BC)/Record Date (RD). During the period of No-delivery, the settlement of purchase/sale transactions is not effected. No-delivery period for various scrips is indicated in the settlement calendar of BSE (generally No-delivery period is for one week). The transactions in the scrips done at the Exchange during the No-delivery period are netted and settled in the settlement in which the scrips come out of No-delivery.
What would happen in the scenario when the No- Delivery is abolished?
The No- Delivery system has till now been used to ensure that the trades takes place at the prices which are reflective of the corporate benefits attached to the securities traded. The Exchanges have decided to abolish No-Delivery for the scrips which are traded on compulsory demat form and Book Closure or Record dates have fixed by the companies for corporate benefits like bonus dividend and where no corporate benefits are attached. This would come into effect from May 1, 2002. In such cases the Exchange would announce an Ex- date and the investors should quote the prices for the concerned scrips assuming the corporate benefits are not attached from that date onwards. However, the No- Delivery would continue to be applicable for all scrips where physical shares can be delivered and/or where the corporate benefits are other than referred to above.

IndiaBulls has blocked this stock for trading for few days. May be because of volatility of this stock over 1 week.
One more thing I want to ask, I have few 15 stocks of Omaxe @348, 120 Rain Calcining @ 49 and 20 Central Bank @ 127 average price. Can any one pls suggest me about my portfolio? Thanks.

I saw this message from one Mr.Manish on a different forum (I think it is not the boarder Manish_sat of this forum)- I think he may be saying right here, though I advise People can verify it from there own sources->

I called in NSE India and had a word with Clearing and Settlements Division only to update you with whatever little I can in my capacity.
We follow T + 3 policy. So boarders if you miss the bus of buying, if at all you are planning to buy JC more or take an entry - You can purchase the stock until OCTOBER 8, 2007 - and you will have the stock in your demat account on OCTOBER 11, 2007 (only to be on the safer side, you can even purchase it on OCTOBER 9 , 2007). Anyways, you buy the stock on 8th october and you get the stock electronically in your demat account or your brokers pool account on OCTOBER 11, 2007 (post market) and THE COMPANY will have to consider everyone eligible for the bonus and split on their books - POST CLOSING OCTOBER 12, 2007 i.e. everyone who holds it on the company records at 5:00 pm on Friday, October 12, 2007."
