Jio subscriptions - could be very significant already!

Reliance still has that 149Rs. plan. After a while one would expect the others to try and attack that. This thing of 56GB for 300 odd Rs. is very aggressive.

What/How would you/we know if a year back
these 10 guys did not sit together and decide among themselves
to do exactly this . . . .

Just got call from some Airtel call center, tele caller was using free Jio SIM to sell Airtel product.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Worked on Jio through wi-fi hotspot on my laptop today. Generally works fine, but the internet gets disconnected when there is a call or SMS. Also twice got disconnected for no reason.

I am using JioFi for my laptops only, so cant say for disconnection when there is a call or sms. But I am totally satisfied with JioFi. No major problem faced so far.
Aur rahi baat, disconnection for no reason, yes I faced initially this issue or even now though once in a while. But it was only for 1-2 minutes or one may reconnect oneself.
BTW, I have faced this kind of disconnection for no reason issue in dongles and router of other major data providers charging hefty charges.
So its a non issue for me, atleast.

The speed is ok, not upto the hyped levels, but fine and consistent. At least in Surat.

Of course, the speed is poor after 1GB. Tested it yesterday.

Will check from Delhi on next week and report.

But how do I check today's usage ? Am new to the smart phone and going mad trying to work out the various things.
