Yes, you are right. Shorting in cash segment is limited to day-trading only.

However, I don't have the historical data of futures. Do you have any source in
mind where I can download the reliable historical EOD data of futures from?

ICICIBANK : Crossover of EMA & ADX in BUY (High Price 1150)

It is not a Buy Trigger. It is Exit trigger for previous Short trade (triggered on 6-12-12). Candle not touching EMA(3).
