Hum log aise particular stock pe experiement nahin kiya hai,phil hal karthik ji ne iss method ko dhunda hai tho main unse phuchta hun(mera hindi thoda karab hai kyunki mein karnataka ka hun)...

Aap ka jobhi sawal hai aap yahi puch lijiye , aap ke sawlo se bahut sare naye user ko madad hoga...

yes anup veshe mera real name bi anup he thanks u r good help karthik sir ne great method dhundhi he nice anup ji ap bato ge apko jitni bi samj pade he ishme totaly wo ap koe stock ki image banke yah sent karo me ne last chartlink me maruti dekha ap bat sakte ho me shai hu ya worge 17-1-2013 ko maruti sell banti he ok hi he 1522 k lakin dushre din sl hit m i right

I use ADX as additional filter to guage the Trend. There is a reason behind that. Please take a scrip and analyse for 6 months or 1 year with EMA cross over separately and with the filter combination of ADX & EMA. You will find the reason behind it!

I agree completely with you that with your suggested 3,10 EMA crossover, ADX works as a good filter. But with 3,10,30 crossover, don't you think that ADX gets diluted. Or may be I am missing something

Pl look at the chart of Kotak bank & c whether ADX had diluted the trade.

In fact Quadra has given the Buy signal today only with Filter >680 where as Karthik gave the signal on 24th >655.

But i prefer 21sma to 30sma as filter since 21 is a Strong Fibonacci looked by many people.

And this cross over works very well for entry if u c 4hr TF
