U may have some bad exp with kotak. Please don't mix up that and confuse the persons query. Kotak is not a trustworthy broker in some aspects- example: they charge extra transaction fee in name of other charges.
But Please understand, this is a simple case of short selling without holding the shares and auction process will follow. So there is no point crying at broker for errors at traders end.
