didnt want to bring this thread back, but kwikpop is not working
i patched the dll file and some of the afl code doesn't show

for example, if i open an afl, it wont chart anything
some afl work, some dont show anything, and some give error
any idea on how to use kwikpop?
do you guys just open the afl and chart the data?
btw, im using amibroker 5.2 pro

Internet connection should be on (i suppose) when you open/load kwikpop afl.
just try by keeping internet connection on.

my internet connection is always on
im guessing the patch doesn't work?

i would say 50% of the charts dont work, 25 give error, and 25 work(they are simple indicators)

damn, i just wanted to analyze kwikpop

alright, i noticed that the kwikpop doesn't work properly on the newer amibroker
i can get most of the charts to work except for the pivots and other misc charting

AB version 4.91.0 introduced several new reserved words for AFL. From the release notes:

1. If your formula uses the following names: switch, case, break, continue, default as user-defined variable identifier then you would need to rename them. To do so follow the instructions in this article: http://www.amibroker.com/kb/2007/04...ossible-conflict-with-user-defined-variables/.

The new reserved word: DEFAULT appears in several KP indicators for AB. These indicators will now produce an error message - Error 30: Syntax error when you try to drag and drop or insert these indicators onto a chart pane. The KP indicators that cause this error are as follows:

1. TSKPFast1
2. TSKPMedium
3. TSKPMrHugger
4. TSKPScoreCard
5. TSKPShortTermTradeBias
6. TSKPTrendBias
7. TSKPUniversalBond
8. TSKPVolSpikes

Can anyone please guide me on how to use the setup. there are a lot of indicators here but very hard to understand how the system works. I watched the training videos... but the parameters are defaulted to E-mini i think.
