Identifying Pivot

We must need clear cut way to find a pivot....so here its my way to identify pivot...

Rally started...when 3rd bar crosses high of 2nd bar ....now 1st bar low is pivot
we can call it as Minor pivot low

Decline started...when 3rd bar crosses low of 2nd bar ....now 1st bar high is pivot
we can call it as Minor pivot High

Early Reversal Line -ERL
Whats this?
This is a line we draw at body high/low (VPH/VPL)when price go abv any VP and close some distance from that VP .(note there must be a trend before)...This line will help us to early reversal area when trend is not ready to go.....:confuse:

Advanced traders draw ERL's every where from agg pvt to major pivots and take actions based those ERL's in trading .....also they use many upgradation of Visual pivots for early entry ,sl,tsl etc...We here not look advanced parts and stick to basic VP's and ERL's on VP's only.Going forward in future will introduce one more DVERL(Diagnol Visual Earlier Reversal Line) as this is one of good tool in some cases....but not now... when I see it in live will explain it in live ...so don't confuse all ...you just need above visual ERL's for our trades as of now ....

One more thing which we can use in trading that Failures and Rejections of price at visual pivots ...as you start trading this method you will get hold on that ....mostly its gives us a good trading setups....

Now how you trade market using these simple minor pivots,visual pivots,trends.ERL's?
We learnt UT is when we see higher high visual pivot high and higher low visual pivot lows,DT is when we see lower low pivot high and lower low pivots lows
..in between areas we see as sideways .....
So in UT we look for go longs using minor pivots
in DT we look for go shorts using minor pivots

So if we in DT price reverse where we look for longs .....
1.pivot above ERL (though its not end of DT trend,but we try for early reversal)
2.Pivot above VPH -yes we we get pivot above VPH and break of that pivot means UT started
Here we not go long above VPH directly...Why? when breakout of VPH means DT in question ...we need proper set up to @ least a trend start...For confirmed trend you allready know that we need HH VPH and HL VPL...here only have a VPL & VPH nothing,,,

Hope I explained it correctly ...otherwise you will get in chart what I tryed to explain

How we start the day?......................................

Vis UT yesterday afternoon then

1.Gap into range but above ERL
2.Gap above VPH
3.gap in to range and comes above yday high
4.gap beyond VPL
5.gap into range below ERL
6.gap beyond VPL and back into def area(ERL area)
7.gap beyond VPL and goes stright back to above VPH

Just some changes for if DT yesterday afternoon...

1.If gap below VPL then short 1st bar if its bearish or wait for minor pivot for short
2.gap into def area(erl area) ----Visual PH required for long or it has to come
back below VPL and trade back into def area then that pvt in def area can used

ALSO IF GAP INTO RANGE THEN WE NEVER GO LONG/SHORT DIRECTLY @ VP'S

Some other rules can use in trading....
1.When in big gaps/vertical moves can trade bothways on minor pivots upto price stabilise
2.Be carefull in sideways and not try to draw erls and get caught in whips
3.After a big fall/vertical move price most of times go to sideways infront of that big fall...so be carefull ....yuou will play ping pong
4.one can book profit if failures see at previous VPH/VPL,failures @ major SUP/RES areas,Hammers @ key areas...

Not coming all into my mind at now ...will give if any comes into my mind later
