incorporate the volume too... prefer the stock which has rising volume with rising price...

I never checked volume before, for entering in to trade.
But some how this strategy works fine.
I took 25 trades till today in last 2 years.. and 21of them ended in profit.
I will add volumes as third criteria in this set up. Lets see how it plays..

Apply the reverse condition for Short...i.e -DI above 25 and MACD Histogram making 3 consecutive Red bars...hope am in line with Apache reading!
