Lets double the money in 40 trades

ok agreed to the five names, but don't u think that there r dedicated folowers of these 5 or even saint sir. they just don't come in the picture coz they r just followers, but that doesn't meant that they don't make money trading (intra or positional).

Tj has gone dry and most of the good post are all buried in the archives. How many active threads are there on the flow...? How many on market profile...? trading psychology...? risk management...?

I seen few of your old post...! you appear to be a very level headed guy. This market is meant for rats, who'll survives the storm and live to fight another day. Dont see much of your post either now a days...!

My Intraday Trades... are based only on Bid & Ask, incidentally I called it Price Action.... and it was just mentioned in reply to a post....& primary contents of which basically dealt with how I got started with Trading in 2004....and PA was just a small little thingy mentioned in one of those posts.

Positional Trades are based on 5 & 6 MA for Stock Futures.. for Index Futures it is 4 & 5 ... or 9 & 14 MA for both... S/Ls are calculated depending on the Margin of Safety from Entry Point.... and it doesn't necessarily have to be on bearish crossover.... It is all there in various threads that were started....

Only International Commodity & Forex is based on charts with settings of....

9 & 100 MA, BB 20, 3 & Stochastic 9, 3, 4... for both Positional & Intraday.

Intraday Trades based on Bid & Ask has been difficult to explain... although did attempt to do it.....in writing and as a shortcut through Live Demo.... but turned out to be quite a fiasco.... and got rightly thumped by YLS (swati23) & as recently as yesterday by ChaoticTrader.. for trying to give a easy way out to somebody who happened to be on the wrong side of the trade..... Though I believe a few did manage to pickup the Bid & Ask and surprisingly they are trading it.... Can't say if they are still trading Bid & Ask... but it was a couple of months when I received some mails... that's how I know...

Little rusty as far as Bid & Ask is concerned.... since I have actively started only from last week of March....but should be back to speed as I used to a few years back....

There was no reason.... for me to exhibit how I traded then or now... just that the best solution to a problem is usually right on the tip of our nose while we complicate it by looking far & wide.... since most simple solutions meet with a death which one would never even wish on their enemy.... I started by just posting figures and triggers.....and for most part of my being here had been very quiet threads.... with occasional query... but kind of became hyper active threads only in the last couple of years.... it feels good that we have many more talking about various Moving Average crossovers now... than what was being discussed... then except for Karthik's thread where there was much participation... think the thread name started with 'Experiments in........ ' anyway it's there in the TA section....

Other very active discussions then... about FFT and etc. was nothing more than Intellectual mxxxxxxxxxxn.

Thakwani.... didn't I say my Intraday has nothing to with charts.... Please you have query about TFs, BFs, GFs, MFs...post it in the mother thread... there is enough going on here ...we are NOT discussing a Trading Strategy.

R1989 it is very easy to say this. U r doing paper trade. First u do real trade than market kick and u r thrown. Stock market is not like u think in 40 days if u double ur money than it is ur dream not useful in real trade.

secondly..i m not paper trading.....

thirdly it is not 40 days..it is 40 trades..it may come in ...different time frame...like 30 days..or 20 days..or 10 days..depending the way ur trading..how many scripts ur trading

fourthly....it will be useful to all..who r watching it ...

R1989 i think u r trading on volume and moving average on 1 min chart. which moving average u use ? EMA3,13,34 or SMA 3,13,34 ?

only one simple moving average per chart...

i stil dont know how to analyze volume or how to use it for trading fruitfully. is any new thread needed on it? or is there any tread which is giving good information. all says upmove with good volume bullish etc. but how and when in real time. can anybody explain?

see nearer bars for the clue of volume...do not have to analyse the whole lot of things...

That just makes him a reckless trader. Just one news item during mkt hrs can put an end to his trading in a maximum of 2 minutes. Is that risk worth taking?

Even if he doubles his money in 40 trades in about a month, looking at the number of trades per day....... he may do it for a few months, but price shocks have a tendency of catching up with people who use heavy leverage.

if some one is constantly watching terminal..and stop loss order is in place.. i do not think one can lose a hell lot of money..only due to "price shocks"

Great trades r1989.. I'm pretty sure you will achieve your goal.. By seeing your trades it seems you don't need 40 trades to double your capital.. In between, what is your risk %.. Thanks.

risk is only 1.5 % or 2 % of my current capital....and it is increasing ..(or decreasing) after each trade...

I agree with her. Thats possible in option. Even me tripling a month. He may be more experienced and a good observer. Why debate instead spend same time in making things possible. Many great traders has multiplied fortune n no. of times so why can't you ? THINK
