I am trying to learn investment these days. Time frame i have chosen is 1 month to 2 years or even more. I have chosen some shares for my portfolio(watch list) which i am sharing with all. No stoploss for these as the purpose is pure learning. Will check if i selected it correctly or not.

Please help me with this learning process while i go. The fundamentals are yet to be included so guidance will be needed from all. Untill now the scrips are taken on price and volume action alone and no indicators. Trying to follow smart money as an initial start.

I follow Suzlon as it is in my portfolio, unfortunately . I feel there is no upside in this stock in short term. Might slip to lower from here may be to 40-35.Once it is down to these levels will take long time to come out in profit.I am in deep loss so don't want to sell it now.

I think Q1 result is not good as well.

Keep an Eye on this one.

If Cairn India is being acquired at USD 8-8.5 billion, then the open offer works out to Rs 388 Rs 412 per share. However the buzz in the market is that the open offer in Cairn India is seen at upwards of Rs 400 per share. So it is quite likely that the open offer may be over Rs 400 a share. That means Vedanta has to make an open offer of 20% making an overall stake of 71% in Cairn India which would cost around Rs 63300 crore in total
Waiting for official news to come. Rumour is that deal could be at 400+ .
Would be happy to see more upside as I have 4 lot CA-380 @ 3.5

How To Read Open Interest, Put Call Ratio, And Volatility

Open Interest is an important indicator that can help one in ascertaining the flow of funds.
1. If the open interest rises with rise in price it is a bullish indication.
2. If open interest rises and prices fall it is a bearish indication.
3. If open interest falls and prices rise it is a sign of short covering by bears.
4. If open interest falls and prices also fall it is a sign of profit booking by bulls or liquidation of positions.

Put Call Ratio is an important indicator that can help one in gauging the future direction of the market.
1. If the Put call ratio rises then there is hope of higher prices in the near future.
2. If the Put call ratio falls it is a sign of weakness in the market.
3. Generally put call ratio is read along with volatility.
4. PCR can be calculated for Open Interest/positions or no of puts and calls traded.
5. Historically 1.06 -2.00 is bullish. Above 2 and below 1.06 one may expect a sharp fall.

There are two types of Volatility historic volatility and implied volatility. Historic volatility is based on historic prices of the futures and implied volatility is based on the volatility calculated from options i.e. volatility implied by premiums in options.
1. If volatility rises and PCR falls, it has bearish implications.
2. If volatility falls and PCR rises, it has bullish implications.
