Make yours money double in a single trade

And on expiry day option trading, if it doesn't double then u loose whole premium.
with 3/10 probability, assuming u r putting 100 rs in trade, u make 200, three times and loose 100 7 times. the expected outcome is
3 * 200 - 7*100 = -100 Rs.

Isn't it a loosing strategy ?

Unless market moves the way it moved this week, doubling in a day is not possible. Or invest in something like Akruti

don't know about a day, but doubling in a month is very easy...i have been doing it myself...

example: for simplicity sake assume nifty futures 1 lot margin requirement is 50,000.

all you need to do is day-trade to earn 25 points a day....

25 points x 20 days = 500 points/month = 50,000 rupees/month = double money

it is very easy to make 25 points profit i feel...i usually make 60-100 points profit every day...

Technically speaking, it is impossible to double your money in one trade even if the share price triples or goes over that. You need to take two trades atleast - 1 buy and 1 sell, or may be 1 short sell and 1 cover.

If the money consistently doubles every month, then if we start with 1 lac capital, at the end of 1 yr(12 months = 12 doubling cycles), 1 lac would have grown to 40.96 CRORES[but you will have to minus the ST and brokerage from this 40.96 amount].

So have you made so much money?

been trading for 2 weeks now...and making average of 55 points...after deducting brokerage and taxes...

lets see how it goes in the future...maybe i was plain lucky and might not be able to sustain the profits in the future...lets see how it pans out

also, as I will not be trading with the whole profit generated from the previous month, the money will not grow at such a rate i mean i will keep 50% of the profits each month in mutual funds/stocks etc...and add the rest of the profit to my trading capital...

was paper trading for a couple of months...and was quadrupling the capital each month...but now that I have started actual trading, i have realized that it is not that easy...so profits have declined from those that i made paper trading...

but still, my target is 30-35 points per day...anything above that is bonus

as i said earlier, lets see how it goes...will give a detailed post after a few months to confirm if it actually worked..

I am also contemplating something similar.
I was planning that if I can get 5% daily gain, theoretically it will take only 1 yr to reach 40 CR. But after much paper trade, I realized it was getting too tough and I was attaching emotions with it - Means with every intra-day up and down, my BP and excitement would go up and down.

So finally I have settled for 1 or 2 % daily growth. I feel this expectation is relaistic, but only time will tell if I am dreaming or it can actually happen.
