1618 is the resistance area. It is always advisable to buy something above resistance level.

Probably breakout happened today in Nifty, though confirmation required.

If Nifty closes above 5250 level on Friday, and Dow Jones closes above 12900 by this weekend, it can be considered a new Bull Run...

I had written earlier in this forum about Nifty target of 7200 by 2012, which can be considered to be achievable.
