My algo trading daily performance

I have opted for Symphony mainly because of their great after sales support. They are very professional if what they do. Starting from their sales team, Lead manager, Developer lead, Support team, everyone knows about the platform and in case of any issues with Symphony platform they are able to sort out the issues and also they keep me updated on the progress.

Where as the main problem with robotrader vendors are, there are many vendors who sell the same software. When I ask about the product, they couldn't explain much, during live market hours in case i face any issues with execution, it is difficult to reach the support team. Since am dealing with 10 lacs, I do not want to risk my money with robo trader just because they are cheap.

Though I pay higher money with Symphony, am lot more satisfied with their service and support. That's the only reason am with them for more than a year.

This is to inform you that we will be revising the brokerage charges for our existing Algo-clients currently using the Symphony Presto platform.

The additional charges will help us offset some of the costs arising from the

Substantial increase in hardware investment.

Higher band width requirement

Back- up lease line for uninterrupted broadcast


Following are the revised charges applicable from 1st May 2015.

Derivatives-
Futures- Rs. 400/ crore

Options- Rs. 10/ lot

Cash market-
Intra- day- Rs. 400/ crore

Delivery- Rs. 6000/ crore


New customers are being charged Rs.600/- per crore. As an existing customer , we share a special relationship and therefore have kept the brokerage much lower.

I use to have a dedicated PC for Amibroker ,so 2 separate logins,i could keep both(Amibroker thru VNC and Presto thru RDP) open and view them simultaneously,i started started to use both on the server from today,and the view through VNC is very challenging ,any tips.

When i interacted with one of the master trust guy, he said the brokerage is .01% not 20 per order or 15 per order. If master trust can provide feasible brokerage, then its wise to give a try. Bcoz brokerage on percentage basis doesn't suit us

Have got a paper trading account from Symphony. Amibroker is on my system and is connected through a software called Amifuse... Trying to learn the operational aspects before going for live trades... Any ideas on how backtest can be done if trades are based on Stop buy orders...
