My charts (and yours too........)

Thanks, Babu for posting regulary and for yr charts.

Ill be posting some post-mortems, some that ive seen happen, some from charts posted by here, it may not be of much use now, but given that patterns are repetitive, would help for the future i hope.

Heres my view on sintex, daily chart, wave structure.

Looks like 161% has been reached (if im reading it right) the trendline should provide the next support. since wave 2 (my reading) is complex, rule of alteration says wave 4 should be simple (rule of alteration).

I havnt noticed many expanding triangles, but this seems to be it (correction on the second) convering triangles are far more common.

Also observe the resistence as price tried to cross the point where the second trendline extends to.

RnE,
Nice observation.
I've a doubt. Isn't it the zero to 100% rally supposed to retrace till 61.8% line before another rally? I'm not very proficient on these retracements. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!

Not necessarily to 61.8, it could retrace to any of the Fib levels, tho 50 and 61.8 are the most common and give max strength to the stock (prolly psychology "Its done a full n proper retracement, so its time to get in") retracements of less than 50%, ive observed, tend to test the retracement, eg a tiny double bottom formed on JP Associats before the first rally (22-09-2010 to 30-09-2010), that was at 38%, the second bottom recoiled, this led to a good confirmation, what happend the next day was a very good gap up (aided by strong NIFTY sentiments).

This works for me in identifying elliotts.. look for the corrective wave, then start the count, if the ratios tally then you have a valid count.

Also note the "structure of price", the first is usually weak an unsure of a reversal, the second is a borken correction, the third is where ppl conclude its reversed.

Corrective price structures are usually very fragmented and inconsistent in their swing.

Impulses are welll structured.

Above is in keeping with the principles of wave formation.

Will post more charts / notes in due course

Hope this helped
