My charts (and yours too........)

What should be done for nifty for short term buy??Any targets?
Its anyones guess but IMO, prices around a channel behave in a certain manner.

~~ Assuming NIFTY is bullish ~~

Red Arrows = A normal healthly retracement, required for some faith in further price rise.

Blue Arrows = Possible path to keep NIFTY above 5600. Assuming "the gods" wont let it dip below lest it trigger panic.

Does anyone think VIDEOIND is heading into a big move up ?

Thanks.

Looks a lot like a corrective channel has been broken to the upside and price is now testing the trendline.

However am unable to understand the following.
1. Why the high volumes on the highest day... abnormally high.
2. Almost a kicker formed the day after, can we have this if the pice is to move up in the near future ?

Seniors / Anyone pls help me figure this out.

It wouldve been almost a blind buy if volumes were moderate throughout and the fall to re-test was a reluctant one.
Now im confused.

Thanks

Good Analysis of Videocon
Thanks, but im confused.

Its not behaving like a good boy, but its tempting, so net net.. confused, SL would be small but why take a bad trade if we can figure out beforehand :)

Fibs are good, its ~61.8 retracement, the bottom of the first jump was the lowest point, thats good, but the rest is not .. perfect.

In the last rally, volume was increasing.
In the decline that followed, volume is low.
So does this means a buy?
And wt would be the SL if yes?

Thank you.

Dear goodstocks,
Yes, there is a resistance at 78 but if it is broken, it can easily go upto 100(target).

Best of luck.
Hi,
how did you calculate 78 as Resistance?
I have tried to mark 2 trend lines on my chart. Please see if 78 R is coz of Line A or Line B?
Also, for last 4 trading sessions, price is trading above 78.
So can we say R has been broken?
Or do we need some Volume confirmation as well?
Or something totally different?

Please reply.
Thank you.

Markets love moderation, an increase in volume is fine but where you see a 'blowout' at higher levels, ie absolutely disproportionate volumes, it would be wise to question it.

Volumes were low on decline, which is good, but the reversal was too sharp, ie the stock just gave up at the top, ideally i look for a downside test position where there is some bullish participation too. Hence the confustion.

One more aspect :
Theres been a leg of fall from Oct - Dec 2010, followed by a huge band of correction. The sharp rise could just be a band-breakout target move, with nothing left after it.

A bit outlandish but if the first leg was a wave 1 and the entire correction in cluding the sharp rise, a wave 2, whos to say we arnet heading into a sharp move down ?

Not sure if its a buy, cuz the candles are just off the mark wrt their shadows (structure) and volume.
