options trading is different... if you have paid a premium of 100 rs then you will be out trade within instant hit of 2rs premium down... even worse if premium is near 50rs ...

Options are traded on spot levels rather than their own premium values.

I have gone thru the last few pages, and kind of see that you people are just trying to fight the trend, and hoping and wishing and praying.

Why do u need to fight the trend?
Why predict the downfall and try to go short at the top?
And get wiped out in the process?
Why not go with the trend till the trend lasts

Because smart money is not where the herd is.And if you don`t put stop loss then you will be wiped out up down or middle(time decay u see).

Thats not what i meant buddy

its 2 % of capital
if you have 100000
you cannot loose more that 2000 rs
and you decide to buy an option for 100 rs
and decide the sl will be 90 rs
thats a 10 rs risk
now how many can u afford to be under that 2 % limit?

I understand what you are trying to say but I keep my stops in spot... also.. I don't sit idle on my options... I keep them rolling...

DOW & S&P 500 both touched 50% retracement level today... (well almost)

DOW's 52-week high was today's high @ 10341.97 where in 50% level is 10334
S&P's 52-week high was yesterday's @ 1,105.37 where in 50% level is 1121

Is rally over? who knows both are almost 1% down... dollar strengthen, crude falls.. signals?
