I had 2 trades today.

Now I got an A/c with Zerodha and had my first trade today on NSE NOW. Execution seems to be good.I did not face any issues of delay or disconnection during the period of my trade.

I had one winning and one losing trade today. First trade I placed to test the NSE NOW platform and it was a loser!!.Still due to good move in the second trade ( Same as that of Krish's trade ) I have ended the day with +9 points.Overall a good day to Start with Zerodha.

If time admits will post charts.

Hi RaghavCC,

Previously I had account with ICICI , now I am trading through Zerodha. I find a little difference in the trading process of Zerodha. For example in ICICI if you have say some lots of NIFTY in your account and you want to sqaureoff the same, you simply go to "Positions" and click on "SquareOff" and your order is processed. Whereas there is no such option in Zerodha, you have to do a countertrade there, which is very cumbersome. I don't know why they kept it like that. There are many such ambiguities, which I hope will be rectified soon. Overall with the low brokerage they are taking their service is commendable.

Regards:)

Hi msa,

You are absolutely right, Except the very high brokerage factor, ICICI Trading panel is the one of the simplest platfrom.Though I did not trade with it, one of my colleague in my earlier company used to trade through this platform on daily basis from the office :D .He used to show me the daily trades on his terminal.I really got impressed by the simplicity of it.

As you specified , The brokerage is what makes Zerodha ahead of others.
In life, to get one we have to sacrifice another......:)
