This is the most irritating thing about MFs. They can make any changes.

Here the exit load is changed from 1 week to 1 year !!!

I don't know what are the rights of the small guy in such a case.

Now this is fair, giving the investors a choice. They are merging 2 schemes, they are giving you one month's notice and asking your option.

Right. But that is a long cut, because there are 42 fund houses, maybe there will be more in future.

A better way is to register with the 2 RTAs - CAMS and Kfintech. That way you can access all the funds of all the fund houses.
