In the evening, he gets into the elevator, and, if there is someone else in the elevator -- or if it was raining that day -- he goes back to his floor directly. Otherwise, he goes to the tenth floor and walks up two flights of stairs to his apartment.??

Water has no color. Ocean water reflect algae(green), brown(mud) etc. Blue, I dunno, Mr. G will crack it though.

Sun light enters the atmosphere and is broken up into its native wavelength, The gases in the atmosphere absorb the other colors and reflect all the blue wavelength. So the sky is blue, The water reflects the image of the sky and is blue as well. It is dark blue and not light blue due to the change in refraction from air to water.

He is heart sick and hopes every day that nobody is in the elevator and that it was not raining. So he must walk up those stairs to bring his heart at its limit, as he promised to do so to himself other wise he know that he will die soon.

The dude was a kid, He couldnt reach the 12th floor button so he asked someone else or uses his umbrella to push the button.
