HI
it seems recommendations are based on candlestic patterns because all three companies prakash, gail and ceat made a big bullish candle last day and biying price mentioned here is just 50-70 paiase more from closing price of all three companies that is based on rule that buy above closing. hope for the best.

regards
Hi Indiabulls,

My picks are cross checked by 2-3 methods. And yes cadlestick is one of them. And about entry price is concern, you are right.

Best wishes.

hi copperdesk,

why don't you speakout what those two or three OTHER methods are!
when somebody points out on candlestick method, you say yes and 2-3 more!

wish your posts in the long run may educate the members.

if methodology of your web research is confidential, then, you must not have any objection in being called a 'TIP' giver.

hope you may understand the spirit with which this post is made.

all the best in your efforts in educating other memberss.

Today I bought Century Textiles @ 456.75
I had got the tip from 5Paisa.com itself that it would reach somewhere around 466
Code:
10:19:17 - Buy Cent Textile at Rs456 with Sl of Rs450 and tgt of Rs466 - Pritesh
I have been following his tips quite a few times and they all are good, except for today. The script went down as low as 433.50
I also checked the script on buzzingstocks.com
BuzzingStocks is recommending a Strong Buy.
The recommendation on buzzingstocks made me think twice.
Please help! Should I hold on or should I sell it tomorrow?

any method is good as long as the targets are hit:)
See this man is interested only in a Tip. That is exactly what we at this forum are against. That is what Amit , Saint , Murthy and scores of other leading members are fighting against. This forum has become a learning center. If we want only Tips there are n number of forums. The whole idea is sharing and learning the good methods of trading. That is precisely why Saint had started a wonderful thread Teach a man to fish.. spending a lot of his energy and time. It would be really sad to see such efforts go waste.

And I fully agree with murthy on this. Like murthy said I also do hope that you will understand and do the needful.

Oops here is another Guy who bought on Tips now does not know what to do with it.. :)

Hi
Some of the excerpts from The Hindu BussinessLine May 27th ,2001 I found interesting:-
The BussinessLine said:
It was the Scottish poet Robert Burns who, writing in his native Scottish tongue, said: ``Best laid plans o' mice an' men gang aft agley'', meaning the best laid plans often go awry.
he was spot on in his perception about fate casting its long shadow when human beings set about planning their lives. Their plans misfire, often quite badly. Those who indulged in price-rigging in BPL, Videocon and Sterlite back in 1997-98 would only too readily endorse poet Burn's viewpoint.
The BussinessLine said:
Those behind the manipulation in BPL, Sterlite and Videocon -- and manipulation it most certainly was ) would have pulled off a coup of sorts if it was not for an unexpected event that put paid to their grand designs. Who, after all, would have imagined that India, under a BJP-led alliance, would detonate a nuclear device in the Thar desert in Rajasthan and with that, let loose forces on the market of a magnitude far greater than anything it could have expected?
The BussinessLine said:
In mid-1997, Harshad Mehta resurfaces in the market. Not as trader, but as an informed investment analyst. He speaks glowingly of the prospects of such companies as BPL, Videocon and Krishna Filaments. His comments appear in a website, and are syndicated to some newspapers. Sure enough, these scrips start rising.
The BussinessLine said:
They begin a steady upward climb, sustained well into the first week of May 1998. Then, on May 11, India decides to detonate three nuclear devices at Pokhran, Rajasthan.
The BussinessLine said:
The hand of fate was now ready to slip yet another banana peel under the speculative feet of these players. This came in the form of Union Budget for 1998-99. The market did not find anything to cheer about in the Budget proposals. There was a hike in excise and Customs duties across a broad spectrum of goods. With a hike in Defence outlay -- a reflection of the post-Pokhran reality -- the outlook for the fiscal deficit was none too good.
The BussinessLine said:
The uncertainties on the external front -- even the pretence of an increased foreign direct investment or multilateral lending was given up with disastrous consequences for the rupee's external value -- were but a further damper on the market. The Sensex lost a little over 600 points (about 15 per cent) from the high just before the nuclear adventure. The game was now well and truly up.
Yeah It was the very same BJP whose Government saw record heights in sensex and Market declined severely on its failure to win another term that too in MAY 2004.

The full article is here
http://www.hinduonnet.com/businessline/iw/2001/05/27/stories/0827h151.htm

We never know whose game we are playing. But what we do know is that it is our money in the play.Moral of the story :- You never know the full picture though you may pretend to know all

I hope members may not mind excerpts from that article. Another thing of interest was the Month. It was May 2001 that Mayhem started. Interesting. Bad month for market..>>>>???????

Hello Murthy Sir,

How are you? Nothing is confidential. Perhaps you didn't seen my ealier answer where i did mentioned that what my method is. One more time i'm telling that i've no method as such.

Pls try to visit this link http://www.traderji.com/equities/6605-my-picks-intraday-6.html. Where i had mentioned that what i do.

I'm watching one thing that when no one gives reply then everything is ok. Whenever one or two person speak something positive about this thread. It starts all over again.

I dont want to be called anything so its your choice that what to call me, a "Tips" giver or pied piper. If its illegal pls do tell me, i'll stop. If not i'll keep posting.

I dont know the mission behind this very site. But as its slogan says "Online community for Indian invester and trader". Which certainly does not means that this site is only meant for analysts.

If there is "N" number of sites working on daily tips pls suggest me one. I'll post there as well.

I dont know what we learnt from Saint sir, Amit sir or VV sir, but i learnt one thing from them is you give respect to get respect.

Regards.

Hi Copper

I was searching for something totally different that I stumbled upon this. Seemed interesting. As I was reading your and other posts it got posted here. I should have posted in my threads, as it may be more appropriate there. Anyway , thanks.
What murthy said is also correct. There is as such not ban on giving recommendations. What he means is the logic behind it. Individuals are advised to do their own research. But for intraday that may nor be possible if he is not already tracking the stuff. So the chances of tip going bad without adequate knowledge of TA is high and results in individuals loosing money.
Hope you understand our concerns.
Pankaj:)
